Victoria Island, BC

Craigdarroch Castle, which we were not able to tour, as we were too early.

Sunken Gardens at Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC.

Water fountain within the sunken garden.

Our hosts, Paul and Nancy Firby with some of the beautiful flowers in the background. We have never seen Dalia's, Begonia's, and Impaitiens so large and beautiful. We wonder what fertilizer they use. The Firby's have been very gracious and we have learned a lot during our time with them. Paul is also a fantastic Chef.

Outside the gardens was a Butterfly Exhibit we toured. Butterflies were everywhere. They would even land on our heads.

Butterfly emerging from a cacoon.

Pretty butterfly!
