Sightseeing Seattle style

This is a fish ladder at the Locks that coonnect Puget sound with Lake Washington. This was fun watching the Salmon go up the ladder. The fish were about 2 feet long. Pugent sound is salt water and Lake Washington is fresh water. The locks separate the 2.

Seattle has the largest pleasure boat harbor in the nation. This is just a few of the many boats docked here.

This is the locks with boats starting into the lock. Notice the drawbridge in the background. Commercial boats have the right of way.

Boats in the lock ready to be lowered to the lower level.

This is in the Seattle Underground. Thomas Crapper invented the flush toilet in England. The underground is very interesting. The "crapper" is a big part of the underground history. Too long to mention here.

We are underground looking up through the glass skylight on sidewalk at street level.

We are having such a great time and the days are running together. The only way we can keep track of what day it is, is by our weekly medicine containers.
